Wolverine is good at two things, pulling off mutton chops and stabbing people with his trademark retractable claws. While being a slasher superhero isn’t the most family friendly thing in the world, Logan’s efforts to reign in his feral nature and retain his humanity has made him an asset to the good guys and the runaway star of the Mutant franchise. On the big screen and on the page, Wolverine has come back from some serious injuries that even a healing factor shouldn’t be able to overcome and taken down foes that you would think would require more than hand mounted knives. Regardless of the seeming shortcomings of the short X-Man, Wolverine has had some insane power moments that defy all reason. It turns out that the only thing that could possibly kill Wolverine is an allergic reaction to his Adamantium skeleton. From taking on nuclear blasts to coming back from a drop of blood, Wolverine has run the gambit. Whether the villain is Apocalypse or a helicopter, the Brotherhood of Evil Mutants or a clan of ninjas, Wolverine has brought a literal never say die attitude to every encounter.
