Workers and Resources Realistic Mode - Lab sessions 2023 Q3: The 12 hundred (part 04)
The workers in this game are systematically forgotten by most guides and tutorials. Yes, consumption rates are known, but they are seen as robots who are just there for you to fill working days. But they are simulated human beings who have needs, dreams, and desires!
There seems to be a game mechanic that causes strokes and heart attacks from 1200 people onwards...
I have no idea yet how to prevent this, but I am going to try. I have two basic idea's:
Experiment one - to keep population under 1200 and research stroke and heart attack prevention with the medical university.
Experiment two - to seperate citizens over multiple regions - this effect might not be set off if I disperse population over multiple regions.
part 01
Setting up a city with emphasis on the city, no big industrie or profit, but smaller houses and more city management.
part 02
Doing experiment two - population is at 800+ and we will have it rise slowly to 1200. Medical University groundwork has been done, finish the building and start research.
part 03
Continue with research, population at 900+, educating population
part 04
In the last episode I determined 1 november 1972 as the date by which the strokes and heart attacks mechanism starts to be effective - how to counter this problem? Start of episode is september 1971, medical university is build. Emphasis on preventive medicine!!
