World of Warcraft Classic Hardcore EP1
1World of Warcraft is undeniably a mmorpg that has stood the test of time. I don't think it's done that by being stagnant. It changes, sometimes, not for the better. So Blizzard got the message and finally gave us Classic, and then Hardcore! This, to me, changes the game so much. It's the same game, ruleset and all, but the way I play the game changes dramatically when I am playing Hardcore.
I talk like I know what I'm doing, saying I must be careful. I must stay vigilant. I will not engage enemies when not full on health/mana. I will always be prepared! Then I go and do something that I might normally do while playing WoW Classic, forgetting that there will be no ghost of my character, just a memory.
I haven't gotten very far in Hardcore. I've lost some characters I was really getting fond of. Others I had a good laugh at the death and went again. Here I go again, this time with a Dwarf Hunter. I will be recording my play sessions in a Play List for your enjoyment (or amusement).
