Just found this. It's from 16 Dec 2005 and is the first time the Swedish guild "No Surrender" (which is maybe the first of very few guilds I was in) killed Onyxia. I decided to record it as this was the time they all thought she was finally going down, and no one knew how to record (it seemed) so I did it. I recorded in the resolution I was playing in; 1280x720, but I had to share the file somehow and probably didn't know about places like YouTube back then (maybe YouTube didn't exist, but others maybe did), so my only option was upping it to my website which had very little free hosted space, so I reduced the resolution and quality to CRAP (as I also probably just had like a 56k modem and didn't want it to take forever to upload) :(, maybe didn't think it was THAT bad at the time, but I'm all for quality today :)

The original file is 428x240, 25fps, 24.8mb, wmv (lol). I encoded it to 720p to better show the little detail it has here on YouTube as just upping the source would result in WAY worse than you see now.

In the beginning of the video, someone was talking about David Hasselhoff and how he's a fan of him (lol) so I thought it would be perfect to add that song he tries to sing.

So, what else do I remember from this time/event/moment in the video... Yeah, we were required to wear fire res gear, I was like the one with the highest amount, went all out on getting as much as possible. I leeched a bit, like I usually did back then :P I've played since the very first beta so this hadn't played that long since the game was released, I think. Finding this video reminds me of many other videos from the lvl 60's time which I have recorded somewhere, one where I one-shotted a 10+ levels above me horde with my Engineering thingy (some lightning shoots), did this in Gadgetzan (if that's what it's called) whole days long, was sooo fun. As a rogue I could just vanish afterwards and not get killed by the guard :P, I loved to troll, and still do ofc :P

This character is a female rogue and was my SECOND character I made. Before that I did a male rogue, but only played to level 40 before I made this new one. She's called Lesbina and is still on the same account as the one I have Dotmaster on (my main account). So, I'm still using the same account I've had since the beginning and Lesbina still has the same gear as in this video as I haven't played with her. There's probably not many who've kept the same account from start to finish for this long, they usually let them rot by never coming back, or sold them, or just got new ones after they maybe got banned from botting and stuff... not me, the same account forever!! EPIC!!!!! :P (imo)
