When in a division with a fellow destroyer in a Domination match, standard practice would see each destroyer proceed to a specific objective.
However my friends and I prefer to stay grouped up, taking one objective at a time together and defeating those destroyers we encounter along the way.
Today, I showcase the value of this approach in a Tier VII Domination match on the map New Dawn whilst sailing out in the Tier VI German Destroyer known as the Ernst Gaede. I am joined by my friends Ben (callsign "llmai" - sailing the Japanese Tier VI gunboat-line Destroyer: Hatsuharu) and Z (callsign "Zouron" - sailing the French Tier VI Premium Battleship: Dunkerque).
In analysing the gameplay, I shall be focusing on the following discussion points in particular:
1. Role swapping – During each encounter with the enemy’s destroyers, Ben and I switch who leads the engagement and who provides support to help maintain our health pools.
2. Defensive usage of smoke – We intend to use our smoke screens to disengage from the enemy fleet at the end of each destroyer encounter
