Akatsuki is unquestionably the most challenging destroyer to play in this branch of the Japanese tech tree. She has an incredible amount of firepower packed into her hull, but it is unfortunately married to above-average detection and a nearly worst-in-tier health pool. She is a VERY capable ship, but given her tier and the matchmaking that she frequently finds herself in Akatsuki can very feast-or-famine. In this video I'll talk about how I build my Akatsuki, why I fit her out that way, how I recommend playing her, and follow all of that up with a game demonstrating the ship in action.
Enjoy!
