Now I truly understand the UV Respawn category after this run. It's really weird getting "100%" kills, when you're actually leaving lots of enemies alive. Not just the enemies that respawned, but also those in areas you didn't even visit. The only thing that matters is getting an amount of kills equal to the number of starting enemies. Therefore, the optimal strategy is actually to kill low HP enemies over and over again, and avoid waking up high HP enemies at all costs. So rooms full of zombiemen are a gold mine in this category. This means that, in many maps, UV Respawn can be done in a lower time than UV Max. And E2M5 is definitely an example of that.

I almost matched Radek's previous time of 3m47 (1st place in dsda) in only 7 attempts. After that I decided to do a more risky plan by skipping entirely the green armor. Without the armor, health management has to be much more tight; so avoiding demons, fireballs, and lost souls becomes important. Also managed to not wake up the cacodemons outside, so they wouldn't block my path later. After a few more attempts while I practiced the movement around the tight corners of this map, I managed to get this time of 3m28.03.

This run had lots of movement mistakes, and many closing doors that cost me time; it's far from perfect. I'm sure that this record can be beaten, and even taken below 3m20.
