World War Z AFTERMATH is a game for four players who work together to shoot zombies. It's an action-packed game where you kill zombies and complete missions in various locations worldwide. The main goal is to survive the zombie apocalypse by killing, escaping, and staying alive. Players need to use a mix of stealth and smart tactics to move around the groups of zombies. This becomes more important when the game gets harder, with zombies becoming tougher and more aggressive. Teamwork is really important to survive in the game.
Following the fall of Jerusalem, Dr. Alex Greengold and his research team found themselves trapped in an old building. Six weeks later, all of his colleagues had either succumbed to infection or were killed. With dwindling supplies and a zombie swarm closing in, Dr. Greengold urgently sent out a distress call, hoping for rescue. Fortunately, the call was intercepted by the IDF or a multi-national task force, leading to the deployment of a rescue team. This team includes a former top New York journalist, two IDF members, and a former SAS demolition expert. Their mission: to rescue Dr. Greengold and regain access to a top-secret orbital weapon crucial in the fight against the zeke.
Alpha reaches the town outside Rah-ahm, clearing a local garrison for a keycard that allows Greengold access to the facility. However, during this process, Greengold inadvertently triggers an alarm, drawing a swarm to their location. Although he can disable the alarm, doing so would open all facility doors. The team fights off the swarm, enters the bunker, and Greengold closes one door but struggles with the other. Greengold directs them to a nearby backup generator, which Alpha activates to successfully close the remaining door. Unfortunately, zeke swarm from inside, but Greengold manipulates a turbine to allow the team entry before blocking the zeke's pursuit.
Reunited with Greengold, they reach a command center where he initiates the launch terminal. Following his guidance, they create a key usable on any laptop, and Greengold confirms the Machbet AA system is disabled. Attempting to contact Phoenix initially proves challenging, but relief sets in when he finally responds. They hold off a massive swarm until Phoenix arrives, witnessing Greengold activate the orbital system, obliterating the swarm with a single button press, leaving the team astonished.
