World's Worst Laser Pointer - Fallout New Vegas: Lonesome Road #2 | Joe and Al Play
Sometimes I think video games suffer from the needs of the medium. As different as all these New Vegas DLCs may be they all have to follow the pattern of the big guy you have to find at the end, with a bunch of little guys to get in your way in the process. Dead Money had the most interesting change in the formula with the requirement to juggle companions and the abilities they offered, but in Lonesome Road I find myself wondering once again what the point of all these feral goons is. They seem to be as human as anything else in the wasteland which means they must have ideas and hopes and goals, but I'll be darned if I can tell what they're supposed to be. Why not just make them be actual monsters and be done with it?
