Quick run through of initial wotlk macros (by no means final/optimal), didnt realise faerie fire was typo'd (it changed to "faerie fire (bear)" ), fixed after. Never played dk and it seems more complex so will probably improve over time. Never played hpally, doesnt seem to have much to do atm.

Important to note, vanilla (1.12) has stock unlocked lua and allows for giant insane macros. From TBC onwards you have to lua unlock (hack), and even then macros just break if they have too many CastSpellByName()'s so you cant go as crazy as 1.12, and have to split macros into multiple if too long. Also lose addons like super macro from tbc onwards.

By no means the best way to do it, you can make an addon yourself and put code in functions , but were lazy and prefer to just write in the text box. But with TBC onwards, you have to lua unlock and shit just breaks if its took long and doesnt run/work.

Also the unlock lua api changes (sometimes gets better) with new wow versions, so for example you can GetSpellCooldown('name of spell') whereas in 1.12 you cant do this and literally have to get the integer number from the spell book!

1.12 addon SuperMacro had inbuilt functions like buffed('name of buff') so you dont have to write ugly code just to get buffs/debuffs.

Not a tutorial on LUA/general coding, but its basic if statements, do while loops, for loops - JUZ GEWGAL WUT EET EEZ! (really not that hard, coding is just writing sentences!)

Typically for LEGAL unlocked functions for ADDONS, these also change over time depending on game version (1.12, tbc, wrath, etc) There could be optimisations for wrath which we havent done because we just copy paste from TBC.

TODO: Auto poison weapons rogue? Hpally beacon heal on tank thing, Assist on dk, Pestilence dk, blood tap dk, aoe on self skill dk.

IMO they could release the game as a singleplayer game with unlocked lua. This is whats fun for us, feels like playing baldurs gate 6man party!

Also, we were never a wow player so if we dont do something we either dont know about it or cant find a working addon for old versions/etc. Also optimizing chars when you have 5 to do is a pain in the ass etc.

HotKeyNet vs ISBOXER: HotKeyNet is free and much 'leaner' but less intuitive, ISBOXER is paid and very powerful, but clunky to set up. ISBOXER is better for mouse click movement games (ARPG's).
