WoW Classic HC Guild Destroyed by Massive DDOS Attack (UPDATE : BLIZZARD REVIVES CHARACTERS)
5Another DDOS attack in WoW ! This one completely wiped out the Only Fangs Guild and Blizzard has a rule of no revives no matter what. Blizzard amazingly has decided to roll back some deaths to the streamers that died. Unconfirmed at the moment if some regular non streamers will have theirs restored. While this is a good financial decision for blizzard since Only Fangs has opened more eyes up to hardcore , this could fuel the fire for more severe DDOS attacks . This also has caused many people to start asking Blizzard for revives on past DDOS attacks which is why this was a dangerous decision for them to make. Some are even declaring it the end of hardcore now that resurrections are happening. No one deserves to die to a DDOS attack but this decision will most likely completely backfire on them and cause them more hassles than they expected.
