The Wretcher Demo wets your appetite for more of this pixel perfect Clocktower hommage. The crisp pixel art (with some distortion filter specifically made for Wretcher), the dense atmosphere, the ambiguous story with all these occult and ritual themes, the subtle yet creepy music and sfx, everything just fits and catches you from first second on. Though I miss the SFX for the first monster hammering on the door in the room you are in... but that is a minor detail, overall this is a great demo for what is to come!

When you play it and get caught by the monster from above in the second room, you have to RTFM to find out you have to mash the left mouse button to struggle free!

Synopsis:
A famed archaeologist commits suicide, leaving behind his mansion and all of its possessions in the hands of his niece Aileen. Together with her friend Keith, they seek to unravel the mystery behind his death and the disappearance of his wife.
