Zeus presents Wrex (un-emulated) for the Amiga, a true classic from the golden era of Amiga gaming which must not be forgotten alongside the software house and all programmers that were involved in making this game.

Year of release: 1992 (possibly unreleased).

What a cool find this was, pretty rare, hardly any footage or reviews of it nor any artwork or box pics making me think it was never released.
Before you start a game you just have to listen to the really cool title screen music, one of the best game tunes I've heard on the Amiga, catchy, cool and a delight to listen to.
The game It'self finds you working for a demanding boss who wants you to protect the many barrels of waste from the various Aliens that want to steal it for profit.
To do this you must guide your ship around the screen dropping endless missiles on them and both stay alive and save the waste by the time the screen timer hits zero,...not an easy feat as each shift get's longer in time and each level sees many more tougher aliens (36 shifts in total).
The game is quite fun to play even though it certainly starts to get frantic later on, nice sound fx and graphics and an amusing end screen along with the comical voice of your boss booming various orders at you (sounds like one of those larger than life London gangsters from those 1960/70 Brit grit films,...or even better "Lenny Mclean, aka Barry The Baptist" from the film Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels lol).
This is a great little game and one I'm really happy to have in my collection and will be the most complete longplay you'll get to see thanks to that corrected Game Over screen :-D

I have to thank "StingRay" for creating an invincibility trainer for me personally so I could achieve this longplay, nice1 buddy!
Also a huge pat on the back to both 'StingRay' and 'Leo Jon Hale' for their great work by correcting the very badly corrupt "Game Over" screen which I've included here as a bonus: 39:31.

I hope all you retro game fans enjoy this upload especially enough to subscribe if you haven't already and if you'd like to support my channel then please consider a small donation to my channel via my "Paypal.me" as this will help me to keep up the video uploads and the channel growing (Paypal: https://www.paypal.me/Zeusdaz)

Please note: NONE of my game uploads are emulated in any way whatsoever, they are 100% original recordings by myself taken directly from the original hardware the game was intended for, that way you know you're watching the real thing.
I will also always state weather I'm using any cheats in the game, if not mentioned then I am not using any.
