More testing of this 1802 after the torture test...figuring out how to make the test program more efficient using strings, etc...and trying to remember how to turn on and off the RVS mode...sigh...easy once you look at the front of the keys! And testing the Commodore video mode...yes, another cable...which is a pain to install, but I suppose back in the day, things did not move very much, and once you had it properly figured, it could sit there and not be tinkered with for years and years...I still prefer the 1701 and 1702 input options...but alas, change is always difficult...next we might just check out another monitor...likely made for the C16 and the Plus/4!
Commodore Video Mode Switch...sigh...
Giving this monitor a once over...I do not like that the inputs and all the controls are on the back...makes it hard to adjust and look, etc...even with good light, it is hard to read the black on black embossed plastic directions on the back panel...which makes errors possible...sigh...
I like all the commodore monitors, but like the 1702 and the 1701 best...there were various versions of the 1802...and they were all fine...
Onward!
