I remember when I first saw WWF Superstars in the arcades back in 1989, being the young wrestling fan that I was, this was a dream come true. One of the things I liked about it was how you heard the fans cheering after every move performed & hearing the slamming sounds when someone is knocked to the ground or slammed. Overall this was a difficult game to play, as indicated by the number of credits I used, but it was enjoyable. Of course the arcade game that came out after this in 1991, was by far much better in almost every way.

Now as an adult, one thing that puzzles me is what makes Miss Elizabeth so special that she presents you with the tag team championship? She was just a manager (or ringside valet) of Macho Man Randy Savage. If you become the tag team champions after beating the Mega Bucks the first time (Andre the Giant & The Million Dollar Man Ted Dibiase), why are you presented with the tag team championship again. Is you first tag team title win erased from the record books like what happened to The Rockers in 1990?

Just a couple side notes: There are hacks or cheats to play as Ted DiBiase &/or Andre the Giant, but there are two major glitches: 1. If you beat an opponent as either Andre or Dibiase, the the computer thinks you lost the match. 2. When facing Andre vs. Andre or Dibiase vs. Dibiase, there is a likelihood that one of the characters will disappear making it to where you'll have to reset the game.
