I am back to speedrunning on DOSBox (emulator). It is a lot smoother with how short loading times are & how mouse movement is. That being said I am chasing that sub 30min run for now and didn't get it yet.

some of the high/low-lights of this run:
2:05 a barely acceptable UFO mission... took me quite long for just 4 aliens...
9:00 the 2nd split is a juicy gold, but I think there is still a lot of potential for me, since the terror-missions load in so much faster in DOSBox
16:00 have a look at one of the "classic" X-COM bugs: when one unit is stuck outside the map. Otherwise the alien base assault was going splendid!
26:10 both Cydonia maps were less than ideal, but still time saved compared to PB... I guess I shouldn't complain too much
