X-COM: UFO Enemy Unknown speedrun - any% (DOS) - 38:55
0Another milestone, sub 40min on my Win95 laptop. I'm considering to move on to DOSBox speedruns, because load times & random lags on this old hardware will eventually become a relevant factor.
Some high/lowlights of this run:
5:40 my best research section yet towards building the Avenger
24:00 Yolo-ing an Alien base without an engineering bay, getting super lucky with finding the commander & not getting the commander (& my guys) killed by the floater holding a blaster launcher.
31:50 big whoopsie. I had too little Elerium-115 to create enough Fusion bombs for the launcher hovertanks... So I had to make the last mission with plasma hovertanks. I paniced a bit here and there.
