This take was played on an original Sega Genesis model 1 with VA7 motherboard and recorded with a USB capture card. I used the audio output from the headphone jack for better quality and composite video.

I used my bundled 3 button official Genesis controller that has a more solid d-pad/button texture, white markings and shorter cable. (Some of those controllers are more slippery in texture, including the launch version with the red markings)

I ran the game on the TerraOnion Mega SD flash cartridge for convenience.

This is just an attempted playthrough with the game's audio only and no commentary. I was only able to make it to the 4th level. I still have never completed this game on Hero mode without Game Genie.

This time my recording software automatically changed the audio quality to a lower bitrate than I selected unfortunately so the audio quality is not as good as some other videos from this time period.

I played this on my 14" Magnavox CRT TV.
