This is a sprite swap from other games, at least for the main characters I am not sure where the enemies came from, nor the backgrounds. It is a fairly basic brawler that is not going to excite anyone but the most hardcore X-Men fans.

X-Men Hunter of Mutants is very repetitive due to the enemies seeming to have ungodly amounts of life, and there being precious little variety in who you fight in the level.

This is a common trait for brawlers but the best seem to work this out by not having more than 2 of any one enemy type on screen at a time. X-Men Hunter of Mutants will have all six enemies on screen the exact same enemy - dropping the fun factor quite a bit.

For free, it may be worth it for the most devoted X-Men fans but for brawler fans looking for something different - keep looking.
