Dear Journal,

Finally, after being sidetracked so many times, my quest to retrieve Bothiel's dwarven artifacts gets into full swing.

But, of course, things don't go according to plan... and I realize that, clearly, I've still got a lot of learning ahead of me.

I must admit I'm a little embarrassed by my performance today. I had considered leaving out most of my blunders when writing this entry, but I've decided to tell the story here in full.

This is my personal journal, after all...
