A triple agent working for the Terran Protectorate, spying on another faction and using a Boron scientist for my own gain? Yes, sir! I feel like the Terran Cadet storyline in the new X4 Foundations DLC, Cradle of Humanity is getting deeper. At this point in the story, there are three different main story arcs going on and to choose from.
I'm helping the faction I'm spying on for the Protectorate. They are looking for a new start and homeworld. I did kinda steal their space station and make it my own, so there is that. But what they don't know won't hurt them. They think it was the Boron, Boso Ta. Nope. The next mission they want me to perform is to help one of their scientist in The Void sector. But I have other things to take care of first.
Delila, the agent I'm working with from the Protectorate, wants me to find out what is happening near the Segaris Pioneers faction's sectors. There seems to be a Xenon incursion that needs to be fought back. I find the Xenon, and a pretty large space battle ensues. By the end, I survive, but my fighters don't. Yikes! I kinda feel like Zapp Brannigan sending "wave after wave at the enemy to clog their guns." Haha!
