Ever darker grows the night as the moon treks across the sky. Somewhere in this dark, wild land there stands a small shack, and within, a wanderer's campfire sheds soft beams of light through the cracks of the shelter's walls. It's a calm scene, but the wild frontier of Rust is quick to remind that safety is not granted freely. Like everything else here, safety is a resource, and one must work to attain it. It must be built from other resources; or it must be borrowed quietly, hopefully unnoticed; or it must be seized through subterfuge, theft, or violence.
