The next generation of consoles aren't even released yet, but that doesn't stop the console wars from being in full swing with rumours. Both the PS4 and Xbox 720 (AKA Durango) have had their fair share, but the always on requirements for the system seems to have persisted.
"Unless something has changed recently, Durango consumer units must have an active internet connection to be used."
"If there isn't a connection, no games or apps can be started, If the connection is interrupted then after a period of time--currently three minutes, if I remember correctly--the game/app is suspended and the network troubleshooter started."
With the rather interesting responses that Simcity has had, it will be interesting how the Xbox 720 will be received if these rumours are indeed true.
