Xbox Activision Deal Looks Scary to the CMA
1,411The CMA has released a statement about the Xbox Activision Deal that outlines their concerns about the situation. Microsoft is outlined as being a market leader that is in danger of dethroning PlayStation throughout the document. The concerns are largely centered around Call of Duty on the PlayStation platform, but also discuss some of the advantages Xbox has with Xbox Game Pass. The UK CMA discussion points on the Activision deal have largely been straight from PlayStation and they basically admit as such in the statement today. As they evaluate Microsoft purchasing Activision Blizzard it seems things are less and less positive in terms of Xbox news today. Sony PlayStation comments are littered throughout as we've seen them stated in the Brazil case. PlayStation news today is that the UK authority seems to be leaning toward their statements about Call of Duty exclusive to Xbox and what that would mean for their business.
