Xbox Hacker gets my IP Address but gets owned by a VPN. If this doesn't prove that a VPN is important when gaming on Xbox or Playstation, I don't know what does. Honestly, it's a shame we need to use VPNs just to play a multiplayer game. But since this is the internet and there is always that one guy who is unhappy, using a VPN is only an impenetrable layer of security against DDoS attacks and Xbox Online Identity Theft.

I was enjoying some Black Ops 2 on the Xbox Series X until I ran into a TDM lobby with 3 Xbox Hackers in it. Of course, they startled the witch, so I was gonna confront them. They were enemies. Two of the Xbox Hackers knew who I was and they claimed they use their RGH consoles to make kick/freeze Xbox Hackers that abuse mods in public games. After getting acquainted with one another, I learned the Xbox Hacker grabbed the other Xbox Hacker's IP Address to mess with him. So two of the Xbox Hackers weren't there to ruin the online game, LT Geordon and Nelxa. The real Xbox Hacker enemy guy was russianbass4lif or Mr psycho#7644. He used 2 different gamertags for the Xbox 360 and Xbox One, Series X/S.

After confronting the Xbox Hacker, LT and psycho were talking about DDoS and DoS attacks over Discord. I'm not too familiar with Discord but better safe than sorry. So I turned my VPN on and told the Xbox Hacker to boot me off the internet. He never did and that probably was never his intention. But what really made my day was the fact that he grabbed my IP Address and thought he was slick doing it. But the IP Address he grabbed was a Virtual IP Address. In other words, it was a fake IP Address generated by my VPN, giving the Xbox Hacker the illusion that I'm in South Africa, catching Xbox Hackers.

Of course, I kept using this against him as I found it hilarious. But the Xbox Hacker did not like me very much, so he ended up leaving the party chat and games (after modding them of course). I tried to get a little more explanations from the Xbox Hacker but I didn't really get anywhere. He startled the witch and ran away.
