Xbox is headed in the right direction.
33I've gotten into so many conversations on social media and my takeaway is that reasonable folks see the idea of Xbox putting their games on more platforms can only be a good thing for gamers, and the industry as a whole. this whole walled-garden approach to consoles has to stop, it is literally the fuel that causes console wars. people complain about Apple's approach to restricting its users, the same can be said for Sony and Nintendo, in 2024 consumers should have the choice to buy whatever plastic box they prefer and play virtually every game they want on it. period. Nintendo aint going to do this, but even Sony has been moving to port games to Steam. Xbox has games on Steam. why do we draw these stupid lines in the sand and say it's ok on PC but NOT ON MY BOX??
