Xbox One October Update
Back in August, we made a video talking about the upcoming update for Xbox One.
Especially, if you're like me and your part of the insider program.
You might have seen some new feautures, if not all.
However, today's video. The update is now live for all users.
So what we're about to talk about, is now live for everyone!
New Updates:
You Can Now Personalise Your Home Dashboard
There's A New Guide
New Dark and Light Mode
and those are the main features, but there's more like a new game hub, new recent activies, enhanced notifications etc.
Awesome new features.

Customise Your Home -
New user interface. ThereÌs 4 new areas.
First One - Resume Recent Game / Movie etc.
Second One - Suggested friends to add which play the same games you play.
Third One - Tips and Tricks.
Fourth One - Xbox Live deals based on the games you play.
There is a new section at the bottom, which shows your perviously used apps and games.
The first icon is your My Games and Apps
The next 3 icons are your recently played games or apps.
Then if you scroll down, you will see some content blocks. You can customise this section by clicking on a game, an app or even your friend by selecting ÏAdd to HomeÓ.
This will make that game, app or friend a content block when you scroll down.
You will also see your pins. Which you can add up to 40! Which is crazy.
The good thing about this, is so you can keep up to date with your games, your friends etc.
You add them to your home page and view extra details.
To add or edit your content blocks, you press Y on the home page.
You can move the blocks around as well. Very nice feature.
Final thing to talk about the new homepage, is you can easier discover new things

New Guide
The first you thing you might notice, is the speed and how efficient you can get from one tab to another.
They have really focussed on making it faster for the user.
You will also notice that the tabs are now horizontal at the top instead of being vertical down the side.
You can use the bumpers or the analog sticks to go through each tab.
They have also added tabs which create multiple windows so you can access related data as quickly as possible.

New Dark and Light Mode -
New can now toggle between dark and light modes for your Xbox One.
Dark Mode: Is what we currently have, which features a grey background.
Light Mode: Changes the grey to white and the font to a darker colour.
I'm excited to try out light mode.
