Today I received my console back from repair and it seems that they have replaced the fan with a new one. It is not stated in the letter from Microsoft, only that they have done machine hardware controls and reset the software. It is still the same serial number and the have replaced the original "manufacture date" with a new sticker with "service date 1/9-2017". As you can hear in the video, no more clicking or ticking sound from the fan anymore. It took a week to get my console back, and I am pretty happy with the service and speed from Microsoft. If you have a console with a ticking fan, contact Microsoft and claim. It is worth it.
