Microsoft has recently provided key insights into the next generation Xbox, the Xbox Series X (which was formally Anaconda from Project Scarlett). The Xbox Series X has been confirmed to have a 4x increase in CPU power, and over 2x in GPU power.
In this video, we go through some of the basic aspects of the next generation console.
The Xbox Series X and the Playstation 5 will both launch in holiday season 2020. Although it is also expected that the Xbox Series X will be joined by the console currently known only as "lockhart" but in theory will be called the Xbox Series X.
The next-generation consoles will support features such as hardware based Ray Tracing.
