Xcom games no longer require the 2k launcher, it has been removed for a lot of games. I wanted to get this going properly but since the game doesn't launch straight from steam i had to use open from the directory. The game also opens the debug mode version which gives issue and problems. Controller can work but you have to make sure you ENABLE it in the 'interface' settings. i did not like testing this but i wanted to show that it CAN boot and play if you are able to deal with the load times and the debug mode issue.
IF you use a cracked version of xcom2 maybe possible fixes for the redscreen /debug mode issue.
