I continue trying to shed my burden of shame as a classic UFO/XCOM fan who has only completed the new XCOM on normal, by playing it through on Classic Ironman.

After last week's horrific rookie slaughter in which we stared deep into the abyss of human ineptitude, the XCOM A-Team returns to show the rank and file how to get things bloody well done and sorted.

So I send them on what could well be a suicide mission into the alien's main base of operations on Earth's surface, while lecturing on why the alien bases in the original XCOM were generally better, more varied and way, way, way more terrifying.
