I'm still trying to get a good grasp on what 'proper tactics' are in this version of XCOM are. It appears as though enemies aren't 'roaming around' like in previous versions, but are instead 'warped in' when the player uncovers a certain area. That puts me a bit more on the defensive, which is safer, but makes for some much longer matches.
