With the mission proceeding eerily well, our troops were understandably confident. Not only were they able to safely eliminate the EXALT reinforcements as they arrived to the scene, they were even in a position to attempt stunning them.

Not surprisingly, this momentum wasn't to last, but who could have prepared us for the fact that our first wound would not come at the hands of EXALT but one of our own?!

Whether merely a case of complacency, an honest mistake, or something more nefarious, a rocket from Grimnir flew wide, resulting in Atheistcat being caught in the blast.

Though Atheistcat shrugged off the damage (the only damage our troops suffered in the entire mission, I might add) and even went on to successfully stun one of EXALT's troops (though it appears we may have underestimated their fanatical devotion to whatever misguided cause they serve...) it's clear the rest of the squad aren't sure what to make of it.

Now that they're back at the base, the EXALT intel secured, I've scheduled both Grimnir and Atheistcat for evaluation by the base psychiatric staff. I'm not sure if this is the overflow from some conflict between the two or not, but it could turn into it if not handled properly...
