XCOM Enemy Within Multiplayer: zig2101 vs drim3n (trainyard round 2)
0This was my second match in the trainyard against drim3n (I'll post the first round soon). This time, I used one of my most versatile teams.
2 mechtoids
1 sectoid commander
1 commando MEC
1 drone
1 deadeye lurker sniper with plasma sniper rifle
I tried to make use of every ability available to me. I used the battle scanner, the drone, and my lurker to scout and control the map. I used the MEC's grenades and collateral damage ability to destroy cover. I kept my sectoid commander out of reach and reapplied the mind shield to the mechtoid. I used the drone to repair my mechanical units and pester the opponent's units. I used the mechtoids to chase and corner the opponent's units and lastly I used my sniper to wear down his assault soldiers from afar. This match is a perfect example of why I love the first game's multiplayer so much.
