My first foray into the XCOM universe yielded a pretty weak XCOM organization and a likely doomed Earth. I wasn't willing to give up ... until (thanks to an interface goof) I accidentally deleted pretty much every saved game from the past two weeks. Whoops.

I decided to cut my losses and restart the game, and since folks had pointed out I should have started the game via XCOM: Enemy Within since it just integrates into XCOM: Enemy Unknown anyway, includes everything from the original game, and adds lots more maps, missions, research projects, facilities, gene splicing and a bunch of other stuff.

So behold! A new XCOM series, featuring XCOM: Enemy Within!

This game, like its predecessor welcomes me with open arms. Then it lovingly crushes me with them. I'm not even kidding. This game wipes the walls with me. Enjoy this new series and the Willfe beatdown it brings!
