Phase 1 isn't very hard, only a minor risk of getting overwhelmed by the reinforcements and being careful of not overkilling. Phase 2 there is a bit more risk since it's relatively long and K does have an aoe, but generally he's not very threatening. At this point I didn't have a clear game plan for my class choices aside from obtaining more master arts so they could've been optimized better (Noah did not have any business being on Zephyr or Mio on Swordfighter).
I did forget to save before my first attempt of phase 1 where I died and killed one soldier so I did get 76 extra exp from that, basically non-consequential. In this fight your experience does vary based on the soldiers spawning but I will still count it as extra exp
