It all comes down to this. I welcome you to the final episode of Xenoblade Chronicles 2. As I said already, no excuses… no padding. We are going full throttle.
Malos has gotten his hands on the ultimate artifice, Aion. It’s a fight now to save the world but we’re running out of time as Klaus’ life is near it’s end.
This is a two-phase boss fight. Aion is a very dangerous final boss and he has a lot of attacks that can really screw your team. Whether it be sealing the ability to heal, have your drivers or blades attack, etc. You really need to be prepared for this. Phase 1 is pretty simple. You need to drop his health below 75% for the next phase. One other thing. Should you be defeated at any point in the fight, you go straight to the Title Screen and you have to start again.
Phase 2 is where things get really rough. He’ll use the Soul Buster, a powerful attack that can KO anyone if they don’t have high enough HP. Having blades that boost your HP is a definite plus. Afterwards, focus on healing everyone and then go on the attack. Build up element orbs so you can then deliver a powerful chain attack. If you have at least 4 or so and you have Pneuma online, you can really wreck him. Be ready for anything. Have your party contain blades that specialize in offense, defense and healing. You are going to need it all if you are to win.
After beating Aion, let’s just say that what happens becomes too emotional. What should I do next? Should I end it right then and there? Or I devote my time getting all the remaining blades, doing blade quests and gearing myself up for New Game+. What do you think guys? Let me know in the comments.
