Xenoblade Chronicles 2: Part 92: Battles in Lv. 3, Alioth (+ Five Centuries of Memory)
This Part was an icebreaker, as I am using it to start off my final few videos of this base playthrough that do not focus on the game's plot and has me doing other things.
----------
After Mikhail's sacrifice against Amalthus and Indol, Rex's team is able to proceed on through their climb of the World Tree.
To go further, you need to Supply Power to a door's control panel with the Field Skills of Electric Mastery 4 and Focus 5.
The room beyond that Lv. 3, Alioth. There are a lot of Sovereign enemies to fight here. The biggest one, Mk. VI Gerolf, is treated as Unique Monster.
Looking back at this video... WHOOPS! Didn't mean for that *one* "Awesome" moment to happen during my first try on that fight!
----------
Beyond that, I start breaking my progress from the plot again for the next few videos, but these will be the last times I do this before finishing the game's story.
I got back to Fonsett Village again to take a rest at Corrine's house to level up from Bonus EXP, from there, I see that Rex wants to talk to Azurda about something at the Spirit Crucible Elpys' Canyon of Husks.
It is for the Heart-to-Heart called "Five Centuries of Memory". In it, Gramps explains to Rex and some of his friends how he was the guardian of Elpys for 500 years, the same number of years that Pyra & Mythra sealed themselves away. Elpsy was unknown to Fonsett so well, that it became a myth, and then a distant rumor, and then almost entirely forgotten. Every few people of Fonsett know of Elpys, now.
One of Nia's snide remarks about this reminded Azurda of Corinne when she was younger. Corrine was among the few that still knew of Elpys.
You can choose how Rex response to Gramps' claim that the current Fonsett instinctively know about Elpys importance to their home and to all of Alrest.

Last, but not least, I am almost completely done with preparing Ursula's grand finale for her Blade Quest. In fact, that's what the next video will be about!
