This is video #043 in my gameplay series of Xenoblade Chronicles 3 for the Nintendo Switch.

Previously, the party explored the Hangar, Upper Level, and the Troop Reserve Section in Keves Castle. In the process, they defeated the Executioners and the Black Triad, two groups of unique Levnises. They emerged at the Hull Maintenance Block and reached the Annihilator Foundations. Now, it is time to annihilate the Annihilator!

The party resumes at the Annihilator Foundations landmark. They set Zeon as their Hero.

The party goes down and west towards the Annihilator. This triggers a cutscene. I figured someone would be waiting.

After the scene, it is boss time against Moebius D & J. This Moebius sure moves around a lot. After losing about half its health, it can put down a damage field on the ground.

When the gameplay battle is over, a lengthy cutscene sequence takes place.

Afterwards, it is time to escape the castle. To the east, they open a gate. They continue through to the Middle Drainage. They enter the water channel and ride it northeast.

A scene takes place when they approach a turbine. In the northeast of this chamber, there is a Container.

The party rides the northeast platform up the Goods Transport Shaft. Partway up, they can hop off to find collectibles on a pipe.

At the top of the Goods Transport Shaft, the party hopes off onto a walkway. They exit east to the Upper Water Supply rest spot. They take the opportunity to level up Zeon with bonus EXP and cook some Manana's Battle Soup.

After saving, the party follows the channel east. They remove the grate and exit the channel for a long cutscene. What a disturbing place. If you played prior games in the series, you may recognize the queen's name.

After the scene, it is boss time against the Queen of Keves. Her Majesty has a lot of magic at her disposal. This is no surprise, given her name. Late in the battle, she can use an ability that seals party members' arts.

A lengthy cutscene sequence takes place after the gameplay battle. This concludes Chapter 4.

More cutscenes take place to kick off Chapter 5. One shows more about Sena and Mio's past.

Eventually, the party gains control at the Ekdaso Verge landmark in the Syra Hovering Reefs. Time to resume the journey to Swordmarch, but the party may do some quests first.
