Previously, Heorot the Dwarf wrapped up the initial Dwarf storyline in Agurani Village. He explored the depths of the Akuronia Mountain Mine and defeated the Vengeful Spirit Mamon. Back in town, he received the Alchemy Pot. Then, he traveled northwest to the city of Gatara. Now, Heorot will explore Gatara and then carry out a few quests to unlock some essential services.

Gatara (time 0:25):

Heorot resumes in the church in Gatara. He starts by exploring the city in search of treasure.

In the southwest corner of the southwestern square where the church is, Heorot searches a barrel at B-7 for Mini Medal #005. In the northeast of the same square, he searches a pot at C-6/C-7 for a Single Phial.

Next to the material shop in the western square, Heorot searches a pot at C-6 for a Medicinal Herb.

Heorot enters the inn. In the first bedroom, a bookcase contains the Belial Coin Recipe. Heorot searches the adjoining wardrobe for 15 gold. He rests at the inn for 10 gold. In the other bedroom, the bookshelf contains information about Dwachakka, the Dwarf continent.

A café is downstairs from the inn.

Outside the inn, a red chest at D-5 contains a Small Turtle Shell.

The bank is in the north of the same square, and the Junk Castle is in the northwest.

Heorot enters the square's southwest house. He searches the wardrobe for a Saffron Robe Top. A freebie for Priests and Mages. The neighboring bookcase contains the Demon King Coin Recipe.

Heorot takes a northern stairway from the square to a passage. On the lower level, he searches a barrel at E-2/E-3 in the east for a Single Phial. On the upper level, he searches a barrel at C-2 in the southwest for a Cowpat. He searches another barrel at C-2 in the northwest for a Medicinal Herb. He searches a barrel at E-2 in the northeast for a Medicinal Herb. Just east of the stairway leading up, a red chest at D-2/D-3 contains 3 chunks of Iron Ore.

Heorot takes the stairway up to the plateau over the western square. In the southeast, he searches a pot at E-4/E-5 for Mini Medal #006. He searches a pot at C-4/C-5 in the southwest for another Cowpat. The guild building is up here, but it is currently locked.

Heorot follows the western path north. He takes a ladder to the town's overlook. A black chest is up here, but the Thief's Key is required to open it. What a view.

Heorot goes back down the ladder. Just west of the ladder's base, he searches a pot at C-1/D-1 for 77 gold.

Heorot goes back down to the main part of town. He moves on to the eastern square. Next to the southwestern building, he searches a pot at F-6 for 19 gold. He searches a nearby barrel for 15 gold.

A few shops are in the south-central building in the eastern square: item shop, bazaar, weapon shop, and armor shop. The Traveler's Bazaar offers a changing lineup of items. At the weapon shop, Heorot picks up a set of Iron Claws for 550 gold. The shopkeeper gives him a Tombola Ticket. Heorot sells his Bronze Claws.

Heorot moves on to the pub in the northeast of the eastern square. He will need to carry out a quest to unlock the pub's services.

Heorot goes downstairs to the Monster Bar. He searches barrels at F-1/F-2 in the northeast for a Medicinal Herb and an Antidotal Herb.

Outside the northwestern house in the eastern square, Heorot searches a pot at F-5/F-6 for a piece of Soft Meat. Inside this house, he searches a wardrobe for a Tombola Ticket.

Heorot goes to the southeastern square. Down the well, there is a black chest that he cannot open yet.

Outside the northeastern house in the southeastern square, Heorot searches a barrel at F-7/G-7 for an Evac-U-Bell. Inside the house, he searches a wardrobe for an Iron Headband. The bookshelf contains information about Kamiharumui, the capital of Eltona, the Elf continent.

In the southwest of the southeastern square, Heorot searches a pot at E-8 for a Single Phial. I wonder if the developers plan to introduce player housing later on.
