This is video #059 in my gameplay series of Xenoblade Chronicles 3 for the Nintendo Switch.

Previously, the party continued questing in Colony 11, Keves Castle Region. They carried out Clad's standard quest, "Indomitable", and wrapped up "Three Ravens at War". Then, they carried out "Merciless Pursuit". Now, they will liberate another colony in the Fornis Region.

The party resumes in Colony 11 in the Syra Hovering Reefs, Keves Castle Region. They skip travel to Zem's Crossway at the southern end of the Eagus Wilderness, Fornis Region.

To the west, they find the Dies Arch landmark at the southern entrance to Elaice Highway. They approach the quest marker for a cutscene.

An event battle against five Colony Iota Troops takes place. They are Level 22-23, so they are no concern for my party.

After the battle, a scene introduces Commander Alexandria and Colony Iota's elite troops.

When the party regains control, a few new quest events appear throughout the Fornis Region. The party can approach Colony Iota directly, but if they do, they will have to face Commander Alexandria and all her lieutenants at once. On the other hand, they can go to the new quest events and take down her lieutenants one at a time, which will make the battle against her easier. My party will do the latter.

The party skip travels to the Seilas Terrace Camp in the south of Rae-Bel Tableland. They level up Isurd with bonus EXP. Then, they switch their Hero to Ashera and level her up with bonus EXP.

The party goes southwest to Bittley Slope and takes out Team Rhyza, a Level 40 group led by Rhyza. They acquire the info "Information About Rhyza" upon winning.

The party skip travels to Conqueror's Peak to the north. In Lisza Garden to the northeast, they take out Team Chelle, a Level 40-ish group led by Chelle. They acquire the info "Information About Chelle".

Then, they skip travel to Zorza's Stonehammer in Dannagh Desert. In Fetos Sandgarden to the northwest, they take out Team Fili, a Level 40-ish group led by Fili. They acquire the info "Information About Fili".

Next, the party skip travels to Myma Gate in the Urayan Tunnels, Pentelas Region. They exit southeast to the Great Cotte Falls and take out Team Sequoia, a Level 40-ish group led by Sequoia. They acquire the info "Information About Sequoia".

The party skip travels to Llyn Nyddwr Camp in Ribbi Flats, Fornis Region. They discuss "Information About Sequoia", "Information About Fili", "Information About Chelle", and "Information About Rhyza".

The party skip travels to Dies Arch in Elaice Highway. They go northwest through Tepnos Heights.

They reach Colony Iota and enter through the Colony Iota South Gate landmark. Agnian soldiers and Levnises await. For any commando groups the party did not hunt down, there will be more enemies. The North Gate landmark is to the north, but the gate is locked right now.

West of the Base Entrance landmark, the party approaches Alexandria for a cutscene. The hero quest "Her Reasons" begins.

Afterwards, it is boss time against Colony Iota's Finest. The party battles Craftmaiden Alexandria. Any undefeated commando leaders will also be in the battle.

Another scene takes place when the battle is over. Another self-important Consul appears.

Afterwards, it is boss time against Moebius E. He seems highly resistant to side break.

Another scene takes place after the battle.

After that, the party explores the colony and talks to NPCs. In the north of the base, they open a shed to find a Container. They find another Container in the south of the base. On the western hill, another Container is in the southwest.

In the northeast of the western hill, a scene with Alexandria takes place.

Afterwards, the party approaches the Colony Iota Ferronis in the west for another scene. "Her Reasons" complete! Colony Iota is liberated, but the Agnus Warning Level reaches 3. Alexandria becomes available as a Hero. Taion inherits her class, Incursor, an attacker role. The party turns in a couple of weird Collectopaedia Cards for Sif of Colony Lambda. They also turn in normal ones for Caspar and Cozalie of Colony Iota. The party's Colony Iota affinity reaches Rank 2.

The party saves. Next time, they will do a couple of standard quests in Colony Iota.
