Xiaomi presented Smart Display 8 Pro for the Chinese market — the first smart display in the company's line, equipped with a battery for autonomous operation for 15 hours.
The model is equipped with an 8-inch LCD display (1280×800 pixels), the MIUI Home operating system, a 7500 mAh battery, a stereo system and a wide-angle camera. Inside is a quad-core processor, along with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of permanent memory, as well as Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.0, and IrDA wireless modules.
The design includes an adjustable stand, as well as control buttons: power, volume, microphone and camera mute.
The device is convenient to use as a control center for a smart home or for watching online videos. You can also sing karaoke, make video calls and entertain children with a library of cartoons and digital books. The built-in camera is able to recognize a child and automatically start the children's mode with filtering of "adult" content.
