In the Chinese market, Midea has introduced an automatic dust collection and sweeping robot. Automatic dust collection and dual-view structured obstacle avoidance are two features of the Midea Sweeping Robot. With the aid of artificial intelligence, the machine can detect and accurately avoid up to 55 common obstacles in real-time.
A specially made chenille double-disc ultra-thick mop cloth is included with the new Midea sweeping and mopping robot. The mop cloth can hold more dust and contracts to take in dirt. The mopping robot provides a 5kPa suction force and up to 200 times of pressurised strong rubbing per minute. The sweeping robot has four cleaning modes. It includes two drying pipes and supports a 55 °C hot air drying mop.
A full-chain circulation hot-air mop is a feature of the new Midea Sweeping and Mopping robot that works in tandem with the cleaning tank and base station. This makes it possible to dry the mopped surface effectively.
A 5,200mAh battery inside the Midea Sweeping Robot ensures up to two hours of continuous use. The device also comes in a water-loading model that operates automatically. The Midea Sweeping Robot is sellable on retail websites in China, such as JD.com. The sweeping robot has a suggested retail price of 3,299 yuan ($457), but Midea has not yet disclosed information about its global availability.
