Alright people, even though we have a nice little game with some feels, both spooky, silly and sad, we gotta deal with the first of 2 games i had an issue with from the very beginning. And the following review down below after this paragraph will make it apparent how i feel about it.

Outsiders: I hate this game the most out of all 10 of them. It may have some interesting visual stuff and an interesting premise with its story and ending, but the gameplay... GOD, i hate this kind of gameplay. There's no challenge really, it's just a groundhog day loop but its also a "Find The Randomly Placed Hidden Object" game. It's basically what games like the Granny series did, and i hate em. They're very rarely executed well and this definitely isn't in that area (and neither is the Granny series in its entirety, but this review isn't about that). The keys blend in with the environment too much. The fact you have dud tools and areas sucks. The fact its mainly a key hunt sucks. The fact its monsters aren't even threatening really sucks. The fact the hints only appear after a certain amount of deaths, AND the fact at least just over half of em do not help you or aren't even hints at all sucks. The fact some of the "puzzles", like the lightbulb in the white "sun" room, even EXISTS sucks, as those aren't puzzles, they're stupid traps because who the fuck is going to interact with that without a hint, guide or spamming the interact button everywhere? The fact you had to put in an EASY mode after the fact sucks. There shouldn't have been a NEED to add that in if your game was fine and fair, which it doesn't damn well seem to be, as even WITH your hints, i STILL had to use a damn guide! Your exit door after finally figuring out everything is terrible and makes no sense when you have numerous other kinds of exits that would've worked better, but you chose a side door that could've been seen as a freaking CLOSET to most and would've been ignored! This game legitimately frustrates and angers me and it just ruins any kind of enjoyment or possible intrigue or care i could've given to what came after dealing with my 5 rounds of "puzzle solving" and key and button hunting. You know, you guys were able to pull this off BETTER with the key hunt thing with SCP: Blackout, and the reason you did is because your game was still pretty straight forward and it didn't feel like padding, it didn't feel like a waste of time to get through the areas, especially when they were mainly new areas with ACTUAL puzzles and goals to them that are CLEAR TO THE PLAYER. This is an absolute spit in the face of everything good you did with SCP: Blackout, because this doesn't feel like you tried to make a GOOD game for the collection, but deliberately made a bullshit and BAD one just to have some kind of roadblock for people to get stuck on and piss them off. I bet one of you in that team thought of not even putting hints in the fucking thing during development because you thought this would be "too easy" or some shit. Fuck you and fuck Outsiders, its terrible, irredeemable and i will smash your game down to hell if you think of bringing it beyond a "Teaser".

Mr. Bucket Told Me To: This one at least made me feel better after the previous game next to it. It's straight forward and simple, a survival game that is very much inspired by, if not based on, "Cast Away". It's got some neat and sometimes silly writing that is enjoyable, all of the stats work out well in a way that for the most part makes sense and the music is good too, especially the ending song as it fits with the story. A few downsides is the confusion with Mr. Relieve Yourself and Mr. Towel, since Mr. Relieve Yourself isn't quite obvious due to being such an immediately weird from the get go in the situation we're put in, and some of the terrain and objects like trees can easily get you kind of stuck from moving, which could potentially get you stuck for good and having to restart the game. Besides that though, it was a neat experience of a game and a decent game by a man who made a silly game about dogs and then went on to write for a psychological mindfuck of a Geocities internet.
