You've seen this happen multiple times. A horror movie or series from Japan is a big hit and there's alot of love for it. America finds out about it and boom, they want to make a more american version of it. It happens, it comes out and... it sucks. People may have liked it initially, but after seeing the original, they prefer that alot more than what America gave them. Well... that's this game. Forbidden Siren was a great game, and then they americanized it with this. Blood Curse. And dear god, is it bad.

Separated into 4 DLC parts, 3 episodes each, completely linear, with unlikable characters and a story that somehow makes LESS sense than the way the original did it. Right now, it's the shortest episode, the first one. And... it's literally just the first level of Siren, redone a bit.
