10XLR8 by Speedworks / Simtex / Europress (unreleased) / Thompson (arcade), 1998.
XLR8 seemed set for a release in 1998, programmed by Speedworks and due to be published by Europress. But it never came out. Here I take a look at the unreleased PC version, which I managed to get hold of from a former developer, along with the arcade version that released briefly in the Trocadero Centre in London, to see what changed.
I wondered for years what happened to this game; it could have been a really nice alternative to the Extreme-G series.
