We have a brand new X-Men Days of Future Past Trailer, and you know what that means! We're bringing you our favorite moments. So, there was a whole lot to see in this newly released X-Men: Days of Future Past trailer, and here the moments that really grabbed our attention. First of all we get a better understanding of the multiple timelines that will play out in the movie, with the older Professor Xavier and Magneto giving Wolverine very specific instructions on how to travel back in time to the Nixon administration to convince their younger selves to put aside their differences and unite in order to save the mutant species from extinction. Professor X says "So many battles waged over the years, and yet none of them like this. Are we destined to destroy each other? Or can we change who we are and unite?" He probably said it better than me, and you can just watch the trailer to hear the real deal. But Professor X of course means that they all have to unite to get rid of those pesky, robot mutant hunting Sentinels, and who wouldn't? Look at these things!! I am happy to report that we get our first look at these nasty Sentinel buggers in this new trailer, and they look pretty freaking deadly so far. It's clear that they are taking on the task of killing all of our favorite mutants, and in one shot we see a Sentinel sneaking up behind and attacking Storm with a very sharp arm. That's definitely going to hurt. We also see one of them unleashing their fury on someone with an awesome face torch (#homiedon'tplay) and we can only assume that the montage of all of our favorite heroes (including Warpath, Blink, Sunspot, and Iceman) looking distressed, worried, or just PO'd means that they all are going to have a moment in the spotlight to deal with the fury of the Sentinels. We also could help but notice that Jennifer Lawrence, who plays Mystique, seemed to get a lot of more face time in this trailer, and I wouldn't be shocked if we see even more of her than we expected in the movie which hits theaters on May 23rd.
