Year of Ren'py - Part 12 - Looking at Screens
Premiere Note: This video is only 11:18 long. Just so you know.
This video is part of my series for while I am gone away for the next year. There will be a new Ren'py video that will come out each month. At least one a month, while I am away. Watch for them on the second last Wednesday of the month. I will put in the description what is coming next so you know what you want to get ready if you wish to follow along and casually learn Ren'py over this year.
Current video: Looking at Screens
Something a little different for you guys but thought I would share it as a fun thing to look at an unfinished game thing "with placeholder art" and how things are done at the start. Often my game doesn't look super nice at the start and all you have to do once things are said and done is to save over the old files with your finished files and they will show up finished in your game. So here is a look at some unfinished and some finished parts to my newest game. I am actually just in the version of this game I am using to create this character sheet so it isn't even the main part of the game I am working on. Once it is good and ready it will move to the main game. (This way I cant ruin the actual game.)
As you probably know this is my last ren'py video for a little bit. I have been posting the videos for a year. As long as everything goes well and has went well, but the time this video comes out, it wont be long before I make the move back to my home country where I will once again be able to make new videos for you guys on here.
If you have been following my videos over this past year and especially recently you know there is only one more speed-sketch video planned of all the sketches from the year in one. And we are also currently in the middle of regular Friday videos of a video game I played for this season. The video game one will last for a full extra month. (I think it ends the first week in June.) By then I should be back and at least can make a video about my adventures and let you guys know what to expect going forward.
Thank you so much for watching and I can't wait to be able to make some new fun ren'py videos with you guys. Until then please check out my ren'py playlist to learn anything you may have missed from my past videos.
