What happened was they tried to stage a driveby but according to surveillance video, GPS tracking on Melly's phone and shells recovered in the car, it's crystal clear that the two were in fact murdered by Melly inside the car. Melly was sitting in the left of the car and shot Sakchaser and Juvy on the LEFT side of their bodies but Melly and his equally dumbass accomplice decided to stage the driveby....by shooting bullet holes on the RIGHT side of the car, and from RIGHT to LEFT:
A trajectory analysis on the vehicle showed the paths of the bullets (right to left) did not match the victims' wounds (left to right).
A shell casing from a .40 caliber handgun that matched casings found at the crime scene was discovered on the floorboard of the left rear passenger seat in the vehicle, where video evidence showed Demons had been sitting.
This was seriously some Darwin Awards shit. Criminals always think they can outsmart the cops and just make themselves end up looking like complete retards. This goes well beyond just playing yourself or snitching on yourself...I don't even know what to say.

I'd like to add that something that struck me about this case was how after murdering Sakchaser Melly put a broken heart next to the "SAKCHASER" tattoo he had on his forehead. All I can think of was that Boondocks episode where Gangstalicious' homie tells him "I LOVED YOU MAN. YOU BROKE MY HEART" before trying to kill him. Talk about life imitating art.
