205PLAYTONIC GAMES SHARES NEW DETAILS!!! The main villain has been revealed, as well as new collectibles! Yooka-Laylee is an upcoming 3D platform game. The game easily reminds us of Banjo-Kazooie on the Nintendo 64.
Playtonic admits that theyโve been very quiet or in the dark, but they did it for their fans, fans who funded the game. The developer of Yooka-Laylee wants the game to be exactly how fans picture it, a classic nostalgic platformer!
So far, Playtonic games has confirmed that they will be present at e3 2016. Apart from that, the month of May 2016 should reveal a lot more information regarding Yooka-Laylee.
The main antagonist of Yooka-Laylee has been confirmed. Capital B, a bee basically, plans on absorbing all of the worldโs literature and convert them into pure profit. The villain has a very nostalgic feel, the honeycomb easily reminds us of the Banjo-Kazooie days!
Yooka-Laylee currently has no official release date. The date we currently have is October 2016. Playtonic plans on releasing the game around that time.
Yooka-Laylee will be receiving a Toy-Box version, in which players will have the chance to experience the game without getting spoiled. The Toy-Box is planned on getting released in July 2016 for kickstarter backers according to Playtonic Games.
